Release Dates For All Four Avatar Sequels

Avatar saw a lot of love at CinemaCon this week, with the first sequel title announced as well as a re-release of the original movie this September. In addition to those big announcements, Disney set release dates for the entire saga through 2028:

Avatar: The Way of Water – December 16, 2022
Avatar 2 – December 20, 2024
Avatar 3 – December 18, 2026
Avatar 4 – December 22, 2028

Originally there was a belief that the first two sequels would be completed and then the third and fourth would wait to see how the second did. That was before Disney bought Fox, and it seems like the Mouse is fully committed to completing the entire Pandora saga on the big screen.
