Avatar’s Re-Release Confirmed to be in 4K HDR

Avatar is returning to theaters in one month on September 23rd, and today we have confirmation on just what the remaster of the original film means.

Cameron himself took to Twitter to confirm the remastered Avatar will be in 4K with Higj Dynamic Range:

Last week Disney removed the original Avatar from Disney+ in anticipation of this theatrical release. If it follows the normal timeline to return to the service, we should be able to stream the 4K version of the original Avatar sometime in November.
