New Image of Jake & Neytiri in The Way of Water Revealed

This morning the official Avatar social media channels released a brand-new image from Avatar: The Way of Water – the first new media we’ve seen from the film since the Empire Magazine exclusives last month.

The image shows Neytiri seemingly comforting Jake. If you look closely in the background, you can see the rest of their family in the hut as Spider is clearly visible standing up with his back to the camera. Is this their home early in the film or is it set later after they make their journey?

It’s possible this is a start of more promotion for the film from Disney. They didn’t present anything at San Diego Comic Con last month, but Disney is holding their D23 Expo in September and there will be a big presentation for their upcoming movies there. It’s very possible they’ll be revealing a lot more about Avatar: The Way of Water very soon.
