Avatar: The Way of Water Runtime Revealed

James Cameron is known for embracing long runtimes for his film, and the long-awaited sequel to Avatar is shaping up to be one of his longest. In recent interviews Cameron has called out people complaining about long movies, and now we may know why.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the theatrical cut of Avatar: The Way of Water will clock in at a massive three hours and ten minutes:
James Cameron’s Avatar: The Way of Water has a runtime befitting of the 13-year wait for the sequel, around three hours and 10 minutes, sources tell The Hollywood Reporter.
In comparison, this is about ten minutes longer than the extended cut of the original Avatar and only about fifteen minutes shorter than Cameron’s Titanic.
